Kind of impromptu, but just added a network drop to the spare bedroom. I eventually want to move my office there. All 6 tested to gig speed first try, at least according to Windows XP.

(old laptop I have lying around) Been a while since I ran ethernet drops so was glad they all worked out. I accidentally cut one of 2 drops in the basement with the sawzall when I was working on wood stove, and the jacks were near wood stove, so I just eliminated them, and it so happens the cables were long enough, so that made 2, then ran the 4 other ones.
The litter box will go there for now, so if ever they make smart litter boxes that support link aggregation, I'm covered.
Running out of room on the patch panel. I have a 1U 24 port one on hand. I might run a triple on the other side of the room later. Goal is to build a wrap around desk at some point. I'd have a small server rack where the 6x plate is, and if I do add a triple it would probably be for a workbench area. I don't really work on PCs anymore but it's still nice to have at least a basic workbench for the odd time I do.
