Seems we don't get normal summer days anymore. It's either ridiculously hot where you sweat for just being outside, or it's miserable rain and cold. There is no in between.

Had some chicken fried rice tonight. Stopped by the grocery store after work. Got a ribeye Grade A Prime, a pinch of green beans and a big ol' russet potato for the 4th of July's big meal. Also, got some stuff for tacos. Probably going to cook the hamburger tomorrow, but actually put it together on a work night.

Video card came in. Thing is a monster! It's not even the largest card on the market. It does come with a support bracket, which it will need - hopefully it works well.

Started calling places to see if I can get someone to install my wood stove. Nobody seems to install them anymore. Waiting for a call back from a company but they don't normally install unless they sold it. I originally tried to buy from them but they were not answering their phone at the time so bought from Canadian Tire.

Seems hot to be thinking about wood stoves but really need to make sure I get this done before winter. I also want to clear all the chimney stuff out of my basement since it's taking up so much room. I want to move my freezer over to the location all the stuff is now so I can put my wood where the freezer is right now. Also want to start drywalling the basement. Bought a couple sheets yesterday, since it's a good rainy day project but can't buy it when it's raining or it will get wet in transit.

About 14oz of USDA Grade A Prime ribeye. Just some cracked pink Himalyas salt and pepper. Did 3 minutes a cross hatch. 6 minutes a side. Turned out perfect and super tender. I steamed the green beans for 20 minutes and added cracked salt and pepper. The potato was baked for 2 hours. Cut open and broke up the pulp with a fork. one side collapsed. It wasn't a bad thing. But after two hours it was so tender. I should have been gentler when I was pushing the sides in. Shredded some cheddar from the block. Added sour cream and chopped some green onion on top. Did I say yum?

One for now, I’ll put another couple up in the 7900 XT(X) owners thread.

GTX 1070 vs RX 7900 XT. I still have an older GTX 680 ( not pictured) that’s similar in size to the 1070. The 7900 is also 50% thicker than the 1070 and is over twice as heavy.

Ive got to finish the cable routing for the new Top mounted IO panel that Corsair sent me, then I can show a pic in the case. I remember when a good video card was around the size of a 4x6 post card— things sure have changed.
