I was raised to "avoid conflict" as well and what I eventually learned from real life is thats horse shit. SO many people and ideas come looking for trouble and theres nothing you can do about that except learn how to defend yourself. Wishful thinking will get you hurt. Or killed.

Bed, Bath and Beyond makes you do that. Fry's Electronics used to have the impulse isle from hell that they'd make you go through to check out. I live in a major metro that has pretty much everything, if I want to go to it. I'm really not a fan of retail shopping. As in, I don't enjoy it. My father loved to browse. I've always been in and out kinda guy. When the internet became mainstream in the late 90's/2000's, I started shopping more and more online. I go to a retail store only if I have to. I cannot be alone (no pun intended) in feeling that way.
Hardware stores are like catnip for men. Did no one teach you this?

You have arrived. Have you been given an invitation for the red carpet affair?

You joke but there could very well be a ribbon cutting ceremony lol. There's been talks about this for a long time and now it's finally happening. Mayor will probably be there with big pair of scissors.

Wanted to get up early, actually woke up without alarm around 6am, and was debating on getting up. But I debated too long, woke back up around 11pm lol.
