I have 100 Twitter followers now apparently. Do they send out a gold bird trophy for that or something? I kind of want one.
Seek and ye . . . I'm sure you can find one on line. But if you get a gold one right off the bat, what happens when you hit 200? ;)

Fruit flies are persistent little buggers. I haven't a problem with them in so long. Initially they're sort of fun. I have one those electronic swatters. It's very satisfying to zap them, except that more pass between wires than I actually kill. So muscle memory says bowl, vinegar, detergent, clingy wrap. Also, no standing water. Force them to choose death or the bowl, then death.

I get this espresso coffee soda that's so heavily carbonated I guess they have to screw the tops on extra tight. I experienced this the first time I opened a 1qt bottle that hadn't been properly chilled to near freezing and . . . . you know those volcanoes kids make for school - nuh uh. This is what they want.

The point is coming. Are you still watching?

Normally I can he-man these things open but I think someone decided that they needed just a wee bit more torque on the capping machine putting it just out of my reach. So I happened to a lever jaw knock off handy and I was finally able to deal with the plastic cap. Tricky operation with plastic. Too much pressure and you no longer have a cap. Not enough and you're sort of jerking the bottle off.
