I would feel like crap too having to wake up that early. Easier to to stay up. But guess you can't do that if you need to be up the whole day after. I've done it when traveling. If I need to be to the bus station for like 4am I'll just stay up and then sleep on the bus. The train was actually great for that, I miss when they had the Northlander. Only ever got to ride it once.

I was curious and checked ebay for what GTX 1070's go for. When I got into mining they were going for like $800 and now it's like $200. Crazy how fast prices drop. The 1080 was a better bang for the buck to mine but was over a grand at the time, now it's around $300.

It's ALMOST tempting to rebuild my mining rig again. Almost. :p

If it was not for the tax issues I would, but the taxes for crypto are complicated and they are very strict about enforcing them, you can go to jail if you make a mistake. Not to mention you lose most of what you make since you pay tax like 3-4 times on the same money because of the way it works out. So yeah, I washed my hands of that. Even my tax accountant did not know anything about how to deal with it.

I've done all nighters when it's my last night shift. Get home and just stay up as long as I can lol. I usually don't make it past like 10pm though. Some days I barely make it past 4pm, it's kind of hit and miss. Coffee only goes so far in helping me once I hit a certain point.

Snow storm nef. It's that heavy wet nasty stuff too. Solar panels are done for the year. That stuff does not really come off with the broom, and it will just freeze into crusty ice. Turned off the inverter. I even wonder if putting them vertical would help, since I see even the stop sights are caked with the stuff. This wet snow can be real nasty.

I'm so sheltered here in North Texas. It gets cold at times. But not bitterly cold. It's 53F right now. People here were wearing scrafs and I'm in shorts and a tshirt. I put on a quater zip to go get beer from Total Wine this evening. My Huskers are playing Ohio State tomorrow at 11 CST. I have to take Pedey to the vet at 10:30. Otherwise, I'd be out of town. Planning on next weekend. Got it all planned out. Knock off five county seats. In town this week.

I'm waiting outside at the vet and some huge pickup truck has to park in backwards next to me. The lady tries to get out and just forcefully throws her door open into my car. Startled, I turn to look right at her with the most fierce look. She got back in her vehicle and her husband drove her out of the parking lot and back around into the parking lot. I guess they don't want to miss their appointment.
