Not going good today. First off, I replaced the PCV valve. That's the good news. The bad news? The plastic PCV vent hose that connects the crankcase with the PCV valve cracked and broke during removal. It didn't matter how gentle I was at removing it. Secondly, the ignition coils that I ordered online are not the right ones. Probably would work... if they were LONG enough.![]()
Now, to replace the dog bone motor mount on top. That should be trouble free. *crosses fingers*
That is why I find use of pcv for top of radiator questionable.
Obviously not enough caffeine. Not PVC (as in Polyvinyl chloride). PCV = Positve Crankcase Ventilation. The PCV vent hose connects the crankcase with the PCV valve, which dumps the exhaust back into the combustion to reduce emissions.
autopart places should have them no?
not sure if this is for your vehicle
The Timmins Police is investigating an incident where on Monday, July 20th, a report of a shoplifting event where a suspect assaulted the store clerk upon being confronted about the theft.
This incident occurred at a Mountjoy St. S. convenience store.
On July 20th, at approximately 08:49 hrs, an unknown female entered the store and placed some candy in the front pocket of her sweater.
When asked to pay for the candy, the suspect became upset and proceeded to collect four Mars chocolate bars from the front counter and proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for any of the items.
The store clerk followed the female suspect outside and attempted to retrieve the stolen chocolate bars. At that time the suspect threw a Mars bar at the clerk.
She then proceeded to strike him on the head with the Mars bar.
The suspect is a Caucasian woman in her mid-20s. She was wearing a grey hoody sweater with a white bird logo on it. She was also wearing black pants. The suspect had black long hair.
Well, got up early this morning and went over to the dealer to get the crankcase vent hose. The old hose was holding on barely. Waited about 30 minutes after I got home and changed the hose out. I put on some mechanic's gloves so I wouldn't burn hand. Got me on each of my forearms. Ouch! LOL. Cleaned up the beauty cover and fastened it back on top of the engine.
I'm returning the ignition coils. The eBay seller told me which ones would work in my car. Too bad he wanted $19 more for a set of four than another seller I decided to purchase from. They are already charging me ~$7 to ship them back.
