Thieves keep breaking into one of our sites at night stealing copper. Hoping I can catch their ass tonight. I'm just salivating for a door open alarm to show up so I can send the popo. They gave us a direct number so we can go direct to the detachment at that location.

A little nippy out today.

Living Room: 13°C (=)
Hallway: 15.8125°C (-)
Server Room: 16.6875°C (=)
HVAC Return: 13.5°C (=)
HVAC Supply: 14.0625°C (=)
Outside: -19.625°C (=)
Delta Temp: 0.5625°C

Woah not sure how that even works but it pasted as a whole table. Neat.

Oops I just finished reading the first half of Legend of Galactic Heroes. Not the whole series.

My monitor just doesn't have enough resolution.

Edit: this may be a first world problem

I want to switch from a triple monitor setup to a single 4k. Been wanting to for a few years now and I just keep putting it off hoping they go down in price. I hate that 4k TVs are like $300, and 4k monitors are still a grand. Makes no sense to me. I also don't want a TV as a monitor as it would just be too big. Though I could build a longer desk and put it on the wall so it's further. Would also mean the desk is basically completely clear of stuff on it. I want to redo my whole desk setup one day so it's more like a big workbench for computer stuff as well as electronics. So at that point I'll decide if I splurge on a 4k monitor or just do a TV. Trying to find a non smart TV might be hard though, but given how cheap TVs are I would be willing to open it up to try to see if I can bypass all the smart stuff somehow, like disable anything that looks like an antenna. Or at very least disable any microphones that might be hidden in there.

I spent a lot of time last night fixing Firefox update that borked my tabs on bottom. Why those idiots just don't make it an option is beyond me. I read their excuses, but it seems to me that is something they should code into the browser.
