Actually I could go for some smoked pike right now. I don't have any more left in the freezer though. I don't really fish all that much tbh. When I was a kid and camped with my grandparents that lake had lot of pike so we ate quite a lot of fish.

Have to take my boy cat to the vet today. Been vomiting since Friday. Cut back his food while I monitored. I hope it's something simple like worms, but haven't noticed anything.

After 3 hours the doc says he's got thyroid issues. Now, I get the joy of giving a pill every day to a cat. Weeeeee!

I am from a city where you have to be picky on food.

As in if you want to eat a particular dish, you go to this particular place and nowhere else.

These are places that have been open for at least three generations.

Speaking of waiting it takes about 20 minutes to check my email now that I virtualized the server. I really need to figure out WTF is slowing down my vm environment so much. But that particular VM is beyond slow. Might have to do with the fact it was transplanted and not actually installed in the VM so all the drivers and stuff are all messed up.

This is temp anyway, I have another VM that I need to finish setting up mail on and migrate everything over. Hopefully it will be faster. Also need to move the NFS traffic to a separate switch/network that might help too. Essentially a SAN. iSCSI would be nice too but trickier to setup with multi hosts. Unless Proxmox handles all that... I want to look into that solution eventually and get off ESXi. It has more features (compared to free version of ESXi).

Wanted to continue work on a php coding project on my night shifts, ended up working on completely different C++ code instead. Funny how that happens. Good news is I did a lot of reorganizing of stuff in the process too. I was working more on helper code and custom classes and organized the dev/deployment procedure for these apps.

You're the master time waster for sure. I just did it to do it cuz I only posted in the technical forum for 15 years. Figured I was Lifer if anyone on this board. Finally got bored while my wife has demanded more of my time. Plus, I did do the bulk in 2 years.
