I feel wrong opening all the windows when I had the furnace running this morning lol. It's that weird time of year where the mornings are cold but the days are warming up. Might give my AC unit a test run tonight.

Off for a walk I go!

6C here...

That's about what we've been getting here too but forecast this week is looking great.

Most of the snow seems to be gone now. We have some flooding though, river is quite high. Not aware of anyone being directly affected yet but it's getting close to some homes. If this weather sticks it might give some chance for water to recede. It's not just the snow melt that's the issue it's all the rain we've been getting, and more snow too.

Think I got another dud UPS battery. I hope this is just because they are cheaper batteries... I don't want to keep having to replace them this often. It's only from 2013. Going to let it sit outside the UPS to see how much the voltage drops, and do some cell tests later. Maybe charging it separately and reintroducing it to the UPS will do the trick.

Think I'm going to look at upgrading to golf cart batteries eventually, hopefully I get more life out of them.

It seems the issue I get is the cells start to short out after a while. I'm hoping the golf cart batteries will have thicker plates and be less prone to shedding too much material and shorting out like that.

A/C running nef.

Figured it is good idea to test it out for the season anyway. Almost dropped a chunk of snow on it when I was shoveling my roof in winter. I was sending the chunks down until I remembered the AC was there and managed to redirect it last minute but not sure if it had hit. I could not actually see it. I did do a pretty big dent in the BBQ though, I checked it today. Oops.

Lol Disney bought Hulu. Let the streaming consolidation begin!

It's not a lack of competition that's the problem here. It's the fact that content providers are buying the means of delivering said product that is the problem. There's less incentive to provide the best service now that net neutrality has been wiped out. I'm on PlayStation Vue. I think I could pull the plug again if things keep going the way they are going.

The whole copyright stuff is ridiculous. The whole idea of copyright is to stop others from taking credit for your own work, or at least that's how it SHOULD be, but it's just turned into a way to keep exclusive rights of content to keep sucking more money out of it. IMO copyright should last like 10 years and then stuff should go public domain or maybe in a restricted public domain state for another 5-10 years where there's still some limits. You look at stuff like Star Wars, it's practically pop culture. Anyone should be allowed to create works that derive from it at this point. There should be some limitations, like a company should not be able to just make a full blown remake and release it but they should be able to have references to it or make a parody of it etc. A youtuber should be allowed to play a small clip and talk about it, or what not as well. But with the current state of copyright you're practically not even allowed to say the name of copyrighted works. Lot of youtubers were getting their videos copystriked for just saying the name of copyrighted songs. It's gotten completely out of hand.

Anyone eaten wild boar?
No one serves it anymore, so I imagine it tastes funky and requires finagling to render it palatable.

Just curious. It may soon be legal hunt wild hogs without a license in Texas.
