Idiot neighbor drove his car into a tree, setting off the airbag. The road is flat and straight. My guess is that he mistook the end of a gaurdrail for the entrance to his subdivision. I'd like to ask him, "How drunk were you?"

I sometimes wonder what is going through people's heads (other than debris from the crash) when these incidents happen. It's like all the cars you see that crash into store fronts or houses. Seems to happen way more often than it should.

Ever show up at a fragrance counter, make them pull out a variety of colognes from their box so you can sample them, then walk away with nothing?
Me neither.

I caught the last minute of the B's/Leafs game. I was streaming the game so I could listen to it while I drove back from Southeast Texas.

Yeah right. No free anything.

Sounds like my work. We actually put a scrum card in for that as a joke. "Scrum master is not bringing free coffee"

Yeah we got into the whole scrum thing too now. I heard the IT department is setting up a lounge with agile furniture. Yes, agile furniture. It's actually a thing. Tbh it kinda does look cozy, I kinda want that in our office now.

Last night I learned that my car's engine has sodium filled valve stems. We truly live in the space age.

what is that supposed to do?
Explode in a crash.

The sodium is supposed to liquefy at engine temperatures and conduct heat away from the valve. Apparently, sodium valve stems have been used on race cars since the 60s and have made their way into street cars with the proliferation of turbos.

so the valve head falls into the cylinder and get crushed by the cylinder head?
