Holy crap it's already 6. This night shift flew by compared to last night.

Should probably start clearing DMS10 alarms. It's the same old ones that always come in but like to clean them up for the next guy.

AT&T keeps dropping my DSL connection. Hardly any chance to use the internet since yesterday evening.

Went to an Amish hardware store today. Bizarre mix of lighting. From kerosene(I think) to led. Dim and hard to see, but they had prices comparable to HomeDepot, and buggies out front. It's a bit of a drive, but I'll go back. They had a full size short axe handle. Been wanting one of those for 20 years. When my current handle breaks, that's where I'll go. Pretty cool store.

Where do you live? I love old-fashioned hardware stores.

I'm in MD, but this was up in PA. D&J hardware in Quarryville. It's in the middle of nothing. It's a big building on a working farm. I didn't have time to really look around today. I'll go back when it's cooler. The heat from the kerosene lamps will be more appreciated then :^D

There's something in my garage right now. Debating whether or not to see what it is. If I open the door, and it's a fast whatever, it could be in the house. Sounds kind of big. Not a mouse I don't think. Maybe it's a kitty. Could be flying monkeys! How cool would that be?!

Decided not to be a little bitch, and I looked. Axe in hand, I turn the light on, open the door and...

It wasn't flying monkeys :^(

It's a little possum. Not sure what to do about that. I guess he'll let himself out later. Not up for possum wrangling tonight.

I was going to say not to be a pussy. :p Just open the garage door and scare the sucker out. Turn the lights on and grab your flashlight!

Well the first chunk of my night went fast. CO tech was here working on a ring generator issue and we were swacting equipment around and reloading etc trying to troubleshoot the issue. Swapped a bunch of cards around and everything just magically started to work. We were both kinda confused but he decided to call it a night, hopefully it holds till monday. :p If it fails again I might be able to kick it.
