Stupid freaking screensaver. Can't for the life of me figure out how to stop this stupid thing. Linux annoys me sometimes. It should not be this complicated.
 
Had some annoying graphics issue on this machine and the only way to solve it was to switch to a different desktop environment, but it has some kind of hard coded screensaver I just can't seem to figure out how to get rid of.
 
I might actually look into how hard it would be to make a USB stick like device that simply toggles the scroll lock or something every minute. Raspberry Pis are also notorious for being very difficult to disable the screensaver on. Can probably do it with an Atmel microcontroller and just bit bang USB protocol.
