Finally got around to doing a couple security fixes to my network. My mining rig and p2p torrent rig were both on the main vlan. Those are machines that are kinda high risk, especially the p2p one. There's always a chance that there is an exploit that allows remote execution or something. So now they're on a separate vlan so if it were to get hacked it should not be an issue.

Though there are issues now where you can escape a VM, so idealy I should have 1 VM server per vlan. Yeah install updates etc... but it's best to design stuff in such a way that even if it's out of date the damage is still limited.

These are rare beasts in the states. It looks like it's in very good condition. At 45 years old, they're rare anywhere. God only knows where they get it fixed.
