Didn't get brutally murdered. Actually walking the main drag to the hospital and back seems like the best route at this time. I saw at least 10 cops, and only saw like 2 other people. One random guy was yelling random things, and then he eventually got into a car and took off.

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was Friday,and thought oh great..I've got to get to work this morning.

Then I finally realized it's Saturday,and I can go back to bed.

I go to wash the car early this morning. I want to get it done before it gets too hot. (Remember, 109F today) As I am cleaning off the back of the car and notice the passenger side rear tire is just about flat. WTF?? So, I finish washing the car and drying it off. Break out my hydraulic jack and put on the spare. Before I put the flat tire into the trunk I check it to find out how it got that way.

It used to be very safe here, but in the past 5ish years or so crime has gone up. There's been several murders in the past years and lot of attempted murders. Mostly stabbings, but two were people burnt alive tied up in a car. A ridiculous amount of theft too, and cops don't do anything, so it's basically legal to steal here now. When people report theft the cops just tell them they should have locked it better.
