It's been crazy here too, not THAT crazy, but still too hot to really do anything outside. Got a couple break days where it was not too bad though.

I moved to Texas when I was 17. As a young man I loved it. Up north, it was chilly at night, even in July. Here, you can stay up all night and wear shorts with no jacket. A paradise for young people. As an adult, how can I phrase this... it sucks. The heat down here in the summer is how winter was up north. You spend your time moving from one air conditioned environment to another. Kids don't play outside. I came back home yesterday and it truly felt like walking through an oven. I'm just praying that the electric grid does not crash. I'm hot natured as it is.

Even here most of the time in summer you can stay in shorts at night, though I have seen it where it drops quite a bit. In August it usually starts to get cold at night where you need long pants and a sweater though. Crazy to think it's almost August actually. Summer goes by too fast.

Move down here and you'll think the opposite. Ugh.

Can't believe my ears. Two outs in the 9th, Rangers down by two, Ranger batters lay down back-to-back home runs on consecutive pitches to TIE the game!! What!? Then a single puts the winning run on base ...

Bottom of the 10th now, tie game, bases loaded ... close to walking it off.

Lol yeah no thanks. Even these +30's are starting to get old. As much as I'm dreading winter coming so soon, I would not mind if things dropped by about 10 degrees so I can actually do some outdoor work.

Like I said, I loved it when I was a 17-21. Hanging out with friends and girls. After that you have to get a job and you're sleeping through those warm nights. Since I can't go back in time I'll just keep bitching. LOL

I kinda want to go for a walk but it's like 2am and I don't feel like getting stabbed. I should get a small can of bear spray so I can carry with me when I decide to go out at this hour. Suppose a "tactical" flashlight is going to do for now. Might go anyway.
