At the VA waiting for my annual physical. Worked half a day so that I may come in early and get some new glasses. Guy working the vision center said that progressive lenses we're not covered. Only single vision and bifocals. I told him they were last time.

He finally gets to me. I'm willing to pay for custom frames this go round. Add antireflective/scratch resistant coatings. He's typing in my info. Haven't seen a hunt and pecker in awhile.

Lo and behold, it's in the notes that they approved the progressive lenses due to my horrible eyesight. So, the lenses are covered. I still ended up paying close to $400 for the custom frames and coatings. I know my lenses cost over $400… so it's still a win for the boxes!

Got my taxes done a few weeks back, got around $1,800. Went towards my mining rig. :p Will probably just be converted to a VM server or something when it's no longer viable to mine. Was never able to get enough GPUs to fully load it.
