Prepared for this so-called super cold front that is coming through. Had my car running for 20 minutes when I got off of work, so it was super warm. Turns out that the weather was what they said it was, but with my lightweight fleece on it didn't phase me. Even with the temps near freezing, I had to drive for about 5 minutes with the windows down to cool the inside of my car down to a comfortable level. I can't wait to be able to sleep in this weekend. The best part of cold temps is sleeping in late in the morning. I'm going to hate getting up tomorrow. We'll have some more "winter" and then warm up next week.

Yuck, hate rain in winter. It just makes everything a huge mess. Well hate rain in general. :p

Thankfully we're back to normal here, we just had that weird heat wave but back in the minuses now and looks like it will stay for a while.

I need to snowblow my driveway when I get home from my night shift. Snow plow passed yesterday so there was a huge snow bank in front, didn't feel like doing it, but I'll have to do it in morning as it's my last shift, and can't park on the street overnight. Don't really like snow blowing in -40's, it's just so cold.

Have a feeling I might get called in to work a Saturday day shift as there's like two people sick. So might be better off staying up after this night shift so I can go to bed early. I won't say no to OT. :p That's going to be rough going from night to day shift so fast though.

Woke up from a really vivid dream around 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. Just finished eating an early breakfast. Slow cooked some bacon. Diced up some onion and a fuji apple and sauted it in the bacon fat. Added a couple of eggs and a dash of milk, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Yum.

almost time to go home nef.

Debating on if I go to bed, or stay up. I have to be in on Monday on day shift. That's kinda a short turn over so think I'll just stay up. Quickest way to go back to being able to go to bed early. Makes for a rough day though because it usually hits me around 2-3pm where I Just can't stay awake anymore.
