Ugh I need to get a dual conversion UPS. My current didn't trip fast enough during a dirty power hit now I'm dealing with tons of issues. At least the storage server stayed up... that one went down last time. This time it was some oddity with the environmental control server and the VM server.

But most of my stuff is down now.

Sucks.

My file server is accessible by ten devices.

Was down for an extended time. I am grateful to have it all up and running again. Seems reliable so far. That could change at any time.

Yeah if it goes down that sucks the most, at least in my case the file server was ok. Seems to be either the environmental or VM or both that crapped out. Hard to tell since the issue seems DNS related more than anything. I think the VM lost the storage because it stopped being able to resolve the IP of the LUNs. I *COULD* hardcode the IPs, and almost wondering if that's what I should do... But too late now, I think if I unmount and remount it won't recognize that it's the same ones so the VMs will just stay in limbo.

Ugh what a pain. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and reboot the ESXi server, I can't even add a new LUN under the IP with a different name. Something is screwed up. I'm just scared it does even more damage to reboot as VMs are still in a limbo state. It might cause them to go corrupt.
