I was just told that I will be moving to day hours in a couple of weeks. I'm thankful for that. Some more useful time in the evening. I hardly feel like cooking that late, but I do anyways. I'll have to get used to getting up earlier, especially if I want to get a cardio in.

Got my Samsung Note Edge mailed back from samsung. Instead of repairing it they just chucked in a new one. I dig.

I haven't been able to use it for 6+ months. The qHD screen is fucking beautiful compared to my beater 1080 IPS phone.

The camera is great too. The only possible downside of using this phone is that it's a Verizon phone and one of the three LTE bands is missing, and no wifi calling obviously.

The LTE band that is missing is seldom used in this city, but still.

Coverage is great though. I'm paying $90 a month for 3 6GB (Unlimited, throttled to 2G speeds after cap) lines through metro.

When I've hit the cap you still connect to LTE towers but your speed is limited. The only thing that's truly slow about 2g/3g is the latency. With LTE it's gone so things like maps, facebook, and internet radio is just fine.

Metro doesn't count Spotify to the soft cap, so usually I burn through 12GB a month but only shows up at 2-3GB.

So I discovered the /r/short subreddit. Wow, some people actually become suicidal over being short lol. Kinda sad really. I'm kinda short myself at 5'6" but I've always been indifferent about it. Though I've never really been picked on because of it either, I think that must be an American thing.

That's how it should be, instead of overcharging. I always found LTE kinda pointless because of the caps. It just means you reach your cap faster lol. Curious to see what speeds I get now, I'm right in the telco CO and we have a tower here.

Yeah for me the downside is buying pants, they're always too long, but I just accept the fact that I need to bring them somewhere to get hemmed.

T-Mobile (MetroPCS for prepaid) is chill about fees. There are none. It's baked into your final price like it is in Europe and the Middle East. Go over your limit, it's slower but not unusable. That's fair. For $30 a line I'm not bitching at all.
