That is beautiful. Could maybe mine bitcoin too, for maybe a month until difficulty is too high and you need to buy a newer version.

They don't show the price, so it probably means none of us can afford it.

TX2s are only US$400 (1000 unit price), actually very affordable.

Each TX2 is only 15W TDP going full tilt.

1070 TDP is 150W, so you can fit ten TX2 in that envelope. Much better perf/w for the TX2.
1070 is 0.63TFLOP/S while TX2 is 1TFLOP/s. No contest.

Woah I really kind of figured they'd be like 15k or something like that. I presume they have a very specific use case though? Like it has to be paired with specific hardware that can actually use it's power?

Nvidia Shield has a TX1 in it. It's designed for tablets but given its power it makes great Blender farm and deep learning, AI platform.

That server can take 24 TX2s, I figure the empty chasis maybe 2k max. So 12K fully loaded for 24TFLOP/s.

That is 500 per TFLOP/s. Dirt cheap.
