Figured out how much materials I need for my shed, did a really crude design of each section in Autocad just to get my dimensions and angles right, probably wing most of it as I'm building it, was mostly to figure out materials. I kinda have a general idea how I want to do it.

Going to be way more expensive than I thought. A grand in plywood alone lol. Well I am being rather generous with my estimates so I'll probably end up with several spare sheets, but that's ok because whatever is left will just be used to eventually finish the inside or other projects. Rather order too much than end up having to pay $50 for another delivery for just a few extra materials.

I should go to bed, I want to try to get up earlier tomorrow so I can double check my estimate and design, and then head to BORG to put the order in. I should probably get a cable locate too... not digging far though and I know there's no utilities there. Originally was going to do piers so I can avoid frost heave but figured what the hell, I'll just do a floating shed. I can always re-level it over time if it starts to get crooked.

Nice! I need to do a storage upgrade some time. My biggest drives are 3TB. It was the biggest available when I bought them. I need to retire my raid 5 array some time, it has like 8 1TB drives. Crazy to think 2 10GB drives in raid 1 would pretty much replace that lol. I would not do raid 1 though, I'd do raid 10, and get like 6 of them. Though I think next big thing I need to look into is ZFS.
