I want to build an rackmount electronic turbo encabulator. I spent the last few hours checking ebay for parts. That's how bored I am. 😛

I think I'll just build the chassis out of wood. Need to figure out the best way to print the front panel. Might just print something out on paper and just do a really good job of gluing it so I don't get any bubbles.

No vinyl printing service? Should be able to order online and have it shipped.

Just make sure the main spurving bearings are in a direct line with the pentametric fan. It's a rookie mistake.

60 was a great price (Amazon day) if it worked.

Fuck it I am getting a unifi.

What is your set up? Router? I have an Asus RT-AC87U. Supposedly, it has a large coverage area. However, I don't live in a big place. It's got a dual-core processor that never maxes out. You have a large home? Split-level?

I also have a cheapo $20 TP-Link TL-WR841N. It's a wireless N router. It's a POS to set up. But once operational, it is quite reliable. I keep it on hand in case I need an emergency back up router. I hard wire everything and just use the wireless for the tablets and phones.

If I were you I'd just send it back to Amazon for a replacement. Unless you wanted a unifi all along. You probably just got a dud and a replacement from Amazon will fix that.

Nope, pfsense is the router, the Nighthawk is just in ap mode. I don't think it is just a dud, seeing many people with same problems. The V2 uses MediaTek crap chip vs the original version's Broadcom soc.

Getting Amazon to ship me a Broadcom one, hopefully that is what I get.

My ancient Linksys E3200 is solid compared to this pos.

Fucking autocorrect.

You're gettting a real "like" this time! 😀
