So, my batteries in my UPS powering my file server are failing now. Sonofa... I was trying to copying files to the server. Hadn't done that in quite a while. Kept crashing in the middle of the file transfer. Finally, the light bulb goes off over my head. Same damn symptoms as before. It's still 80 bucks I'd rather not spend. In order, I've replaced the UPS batteries in my wife's APC unit, my CyberPower unit and now, an identical CyberPower unit. Thing is that I have my networking equipment split between the two of them to ensure that they are always on in the event of a power outage.
