Come to North Texas in July and August and experience an oven. Humidity is not super high because it's 100 degrees!

I was in Austin in June years ago on a business trip, fortunately it was informal. Wore light button down short sleeve shirts, slacks during the day and shorts when I got back to the hotel. I was surprised how hot and humid it was, but otherwise I liked it. Came home wearing shorts and it happened to be 68F - missed Texas immediately.

Insulating basement nef.

And glad we don't get 100F's here, that's just brutal.

We get mid 90's (just south of your border) and pretty high humidity in July - for whatever reason. I've been to all the states along the eastern seaboard of the US at least twice each. Georgia and Florida suck in the summer - 8am in the morning and I'm sweating like a pig.

It's like 11C here. ALMOST shorts weather but not quite. UV index of 6 though, yikes. We have a BBQ today at my grandparents I'll have to make sure I bring sunscreen in case we end up sitting on the deck.
