Decided to install one bag worth of insulation. I'm kinda slacking I wanted to start on this like, on Monday but ended up doing other stuff, and overall taking it easy. Have to say Roxul is some pretty nice stuff to work with. I should be able to do the rest tomorrow in short time. I'll try to get up early and pickup another bag at HD tomorrow and a sub, eat, then get at it. I can easily do the whole basement in several hours. If I can get the vapour barrier done too I'm going to see fairly immediate results in terms of room thermal efficiency of the house given it's so cold out for this time of year.

Yeah that's brutal, I'll take snow before regular 90F. I can handle the odd 90F day if I don't plan to do anything remotely close to physical, but would not want that to be regular. We sometimes get a week or so of those here and that's about it. It's hard to complain when it does happen though since it's winter here almost all the time. Downside is when it's that hot it usually triggers a thunderstorm and then the weather goes to crap for a few weeks.

Yep, was going to cut the grass - screw that. And, T-Storms that night - in May!

Yeah it's already 88f here and it won't go below 80f for the rest of the summer except at night or during a lot of rain. Eventually we'll be hitting ~100f days, but luckily that's only about a month or so. Problem is those days almost always have high humidity.
