Another home depot run done nef. I can only fit one bag of insulation in my car so been going every day to get one. Going to start actually insulating tonight. Have to bring my car to the shop too, will do that when my coffee is done.
What do you drive? Must be pretty big bags of insulation or a very small car

An Alero, so just a small commuter car. A bag takes up the entire back seat. Trunk is kinda awkward due to shape so can't get one in there. I could probably squeeze one in but don't want to squeeze it too much and risk ripping the batts while pushing it in.

Nothing quite like the sound of a few orange barrels nearly full of trichlorofluoromethane rolling around. The liquid inside shifting back and fourth between boiling and not. Tiny bubbles crafty and seemingly witty impinging upon the mild steel walls of the containing vessel almost as if they had sense or reason. Like a colony of alien insects disturbed by some force.

I hate windows sometimes. Fresh install of win7, and it's already flaky as hell and crashing a lot. It does not seem to like that particular laptop for some reason since I never had this much issues on other hardware.

Not my hardware, this is a brand new laptop for someone else. It should just work. Probably a bad driver, was hard to find all the drivers and it was pretty much a trial and error.

Might give up and put Linux on it and hopefully it just picks up everything. For what the person wants to use it for it should work.

No idea why it's giving so much trouble. Well, it's an Acer, that's probably why. :p

Just remembered the user mentioned something about wanting to use Simply Accounting.... if that's the case Linux may not work. I could install Virtualbox and install win7 in there but that's probably getting too complicated for a standard end user.

Worse case scenario I might have to put win10 back and he'll just have to put up with that. I should have imaged it before blowing it all away. Oh well a fresh install is still going to be better to get rid of all the crap put in by the OEM.

Yeah risk probably outweighs reward there :D
Since nobody commented, today's my 24th wedding anniversary. Can't believe that somebody has put up with me for that long! :D
Congrats man!

Wine nef.

Wanted to start installing the Roxul batts today but got tied up with this stupid laptop so decided to call it a day and drink wine. :D

I just put Linux on the laptop, user's files are copying, after that it's pretty much ready to go. Everything works. honestly I'm kinda surprised, I figured I would have issues with wireless.

Emailed him to see if he'll take that or if he needs Windows. I am kinda tempted to just put a win7 VM on there, it might actually work ok once I show him how to use it.

That looks like a fun place for a kid to play while daddy does prime minister stuff.

You could put a lot of booze in there, or weed. :D

That's also where Harper used to hide from the media.
