Charter sucks dick, they gave me a $39.99 promotion price for my internet in Jan, good for 12 months. Now it says its $44.99, but talking with one guy he said my promotion will be honored. transferred me to someone else who is saying no. Now I have to wait for a supervisor to call me, watch a fucking piece of shit company who pays their CEO $94 million a year.

Spectrum does suck. I dropped cable in December for Vue, but kept them for internet. 100+M plus no cap makes it hard to leave. I pay around $65 now that I've unbundled. I tried to get the promotional rate, but they refused. I called AT&T and asked them if they had something like that and could they beat that price. I got a curt "No."

If we didn't already have a 1 year agreement I wouldn't be calling them. I just made this deal 2 months ago. I get 118 mbps or so, yeah its fucking fast. They pay their CEO $94 million a year.

I thought I had a deal with them in August or so. Was wondering what happened to all my channels. To keep the same price they just gave me less channels. But that's not all folks. There was this mysterious $8.75 (or so) fee that was tacked on. When I finally picked up on it I called them in November. Was told that it was required by the government. I told the CSR that was a lie. It wasn't a tax. It was an extra fee on top of the price I (thought) had negotiated. Those fuckers kept me on the line for over an hour while I worked that deal (in August). I was told that I had this old plan with Time Warner that was no longer available on Spectrum. I was told that for the money I was paying then I wouldn't have to pay for equipment leases. Ok, that was a start I thought. I asked about my sports package and all those channels that were missing. Only $50 more a month. I was ready to change my plan and I just did a full stop. Fuck you Spectrum. I told them to leave everything the way it was. No new plan. I told them I'd be back to cancel as soon as I found something better. Was curious about SlingTV, but thought it wasn't enough. Bought a refurb Fire TV device (gen 2) and tried it out in my office with PlayStation VUE. Worked great. Bought two more Fire TV devices, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. Installed them myself and hardwired them with CAT6 (I hate buffering). Purchased OTA antennas that mounted on the wall for each TV. Two weeks later I called up Spectrum and told them I was out and why. Still sucks that they effed me on the internet price, but I'm still saving $35+ a month with everything I want in VUE. Now, if I could have any competition for HSI...

Had no idea it even snowed that much, but only looking at security cameras and it's dark out. Don't know from what minute to the next what the weather is like lately so I'm not even surprised anymore.
