any of you guys used a automotive hardwire kit before? One that goes through the fuse box? I have no idea what I'm doing

Can't say I have, but I have been toying with getting a dash cam so I'll have to do it at some point. Not too familiar how car fuse boxes are setup but if it's similar to home breaker boxes, I presume there must be some spare fuse slots with terminals of sorts and you wire into that. Might have to change fuse to proper amperage. You'll want a multimeter to check for voltage and make sure it turns off when car is off.
