Alright someone (other than eldorado99) explain WTF ni is?
Ni

Monty Python and the Holly Grail

The Knights who say "Ni!" Audio (US) , also called the Knights of Ni, are a band of knights encountered by King Arthur and his followers in the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. They demonstrate their power by shouting "Ni!" (pronounced "nee"), terrifying the party, whom they refuse to allow passage through their forest unless appeased through the gift of a shrubbery.

Forgot to mention it. Last week I got thanked for my service :^D I wear military clothes for work, and in general prefer everything military. They're rugged, use my favorite colors, and are built for winning. I avoid wearing complete uniforms to avoid confusion.

This particular day, I had Navy blueberry pants(which suck btw), an Army acu jacket(universal camo), an old woodland pattern Army duty cap, and cold/wet weather combat boots. I couldn't be more mismatched if I tried. I'm walking out of RoyalFarms(one of the worst convenience stores around. Amazing how they find uniformly bad employees regardless of location), and hear "Thank you for your service" behind me. It took a second to register, and I didn't turn around. Save embarassment all around, but the whole thing strikes me as silly. It's become a trite saying people reflexively use like "gesundheit" after a sneeze. Instead of that, they should consider a donation to a veteran's organization.

You should have turned around and said "Yeah them bears needed to be taught a lesson."

You have to be pretty desperate to celebrate Harveys

Most people in the U.S. wouldn't know what a Harveys is, but I've ventured north of the border. I've seen things, man. Plus, I also know what it's like to live in a rural area and understand what Red Squirrel is feeling. You celebrate the little things. Cuz there ain't shit to do otherwise. That and take selfies with a moose. 😛 Actually, a lot of me wishes I could live out in the boonies.
