Got me some "touch" gloves. Apparently they don't actually work with any touchscreens. They simply have conductive fibers that connect your fingers through the material. That doesn't work at all if you have no fingers or they don't work with touchscreens.

Anybody know what material will operate a touchscreen on it's own? What do they use on the end of a stylus? I need to find some of that stuff in sheet that I can cut and glue onto some gloves.

I never get any stray tacos. Nobody likes me, so I eat worms. Garnished over a rotten pile of expired "food".

How bout a pizza :)

Only thing I've gotten so far from the AT forums I had to pay for.
Not that I'm complaining, just reporting the current reality.

I have signed up for the contest in general hardware.
While it's not a taco (or pizza) I'd be happy to receive some free PC components.

Huh, I'm not sure. There is this stuff, but as far as I can tell from some early reading all you need is something that can draw enough current (Maybe not the technical term, not an electrician) to make the touchscreen recognize it. Something conductive that has enough capacitance to make a difference?

Something like that....

Also, what even are post levels? I know we've got gold, diamond, platinum; and then lifer and no-lifer, but is there something in between?

And when do I hit diamond so I feel validated for the time I waste on here? /s

Seems they are just making some basic conductive materials. Still using metal rods and such to make a connection with normal skin.

In the case of these conductive gloves, that alone doesn't seem to do the trick. They'll work with a normal persons hand, but not without. I'm not sure what property it is that I need. It's gotta be soft and non abrasive though, so it doesn't scratch the touchscreens.

Try your fingers.

You're not making sense again, but what else is new.

You have none I guess is what your implying ?

There's a person I know who has "dead" hands. Nerves were severely damaged and they lost all feeling (and touch capability) in the hands as well as having seriously reduced blood flow. The loss in blood flow makes the hands much more susceptible to cold as well, and frostbite is a problem. I thought I'd see if I could find a solution and started experimenting with these "touch" gloves. But they only transmit touch capability, don't seem to have any of their own.

There is a cheetah loose in BC... Some dumbfuck must have somehow smuggled in a cheetah as a pet and then let it loose.

That's hilarious.

There was a polar bear on the loose at the dump in a city up north from here. Saw a pic of FB. I thought it was here for a sec. lol. I would probably kinda freak if I saw one in the wiild, polar bears are not as cuddly as they look.

That cheetah may start hunting people if it gets desperate enough.
