Bah that sucks, I thought I had it this time, did it again.

At random, the line just starts spitting right out of the reel with intense force, line EVERYWHERE. Going to have to see if the tackle place I bought it from can do it. I must be doing something wrong.

What kind of reel ?

Most of the time you can just put the line on its side on the floor, run it through the rod into a noose for a starter on the reel, put some slight tension on the line just above the reel with one finger and just reel it on.
