I almost saw a handicap guy in an electric wheelchair (think Stephen Hawking but younger guy) get killed by a car right in front of me today.

4 way stop, it was my turn, but I saw him at the corner so I let him go, the car on my right got impatient and went and by then the wheelchair was past me and into the oncoming traffic lane so the guy almost hit him as he turned into the lane. Freaking drivers here are always in a hurry to get nowhere. Pisses me off to see people's lives put in danger because someone wants to get somewhere an extra minute early.
 
I'm pretty sure I just committed blasphemy. I just made a guitar cable using lamp cord, and it's not actually going to be used for a guitar, but for a means to quick connect a solar panel.

To be fair, phono jacks actually originate (and still used) in telecom, and not music, hence the name, phono jack, and the terminology tip and ring used in telephony. 😛
