I need to upgrade my home entertainment system one day. I just have a cheapy Walmart speaker system and no mixer, so I had to pick what I connect it to, and opted for the Raspberry Pi as it's what I use for movies. Regular TV comes out of the speakers of the TV. Blasphemy. I should also look into a Harmony remote or something instead of having like 4 remotes. My FibreOP remote controls the TV too mind you, so for watching TV I just need the one remote.

i have a very old amp and very old speakers, but they sound better than anything best buy seems to have. I tried to replace them once but nothing best buy has comes close
