yes, but it was disconnected when it shocked me, all it had was a 9V, but it was a bigger shock than you can get from a 9V, woke me up anyways :D

120v will tend to do that. I've thought of putting probes on the snooze button. I asked an electrician once if he's ever been hit by 600v, and what it feels like. He said "It makes you sit down". :awe:

Oddly I touched over 170vdc once and just felt a tingle. Then I licked my fingers.... ouch!

I got zapped with 2000vdc by a radar interface panel. Super low current, but it threw my arm away. 120v/15amp is so much worse and it's almost like you can't let go. The A.C. messes with your muscles. (Was an apprentice electrician, got bit there too)
