Looks like they're doing snow removal on the street in front of my office. Lots of grinding and machinery sounds and lots of blue flashing lights on the cameras. Funny since it has not snowed much in months but they're running so behind they have not done every street yet.

How much do you think those guys get paid? Is it a year round job in Canadistan? I'm looking for the absolute LEAST amount of responsibility here in a decade.

If I had to guess, maybe $20-25/hour. They probably get night shift premiums too, and lot of OT when there's storms. Probably not too bad of a pay but long sporadic hours. Lot of them are contractors too so it really depends on the particular contracting company.

During the summer months they probably do other tasks I'd imagine. Patching pot holes could pretty much be a full time job if they actually did get people to patch them all.

LOL I just glanced over at the news and they were talking about ISIS and showing vids, this one flat bed truck had a pretty powerful gun mounted on it, and I'm pretty sure one of the guys fell off when they shot it. It's hard to tell for sure because I just happen to notice it as I turned around, but saw something fall from the other side.
