Wife took a look and said that's a funnel cake, got me, never tried chicken and waffles myself but she likes em.

Might have to get her a Belgian Waffle Iron someday.

Works looking a bit odd lately, I'm still doing my job just fine.

Looks like management is fucking up a bit on their ISO compliance procedures, and I've been programing for them awhile even if I'm not getting paid to do it, and the young engineers seem to be clueless most of the time.

I think I'm going to start looking for a new job before the roof crashes in, I actually said something along those lines about 8 months ago and they made a big deal about writing me up when I mentioned the problems and how another felt about it.

Funny thing was the other had been on vacation at the time, he came back two days later and gave them notice.

I told them then that was going to happen.

Even had another guy about a week ago said screw it and left, most the guys that could program for real have jumped ship, I think I need to do the same soon.

Mostly what I see these days is a couple guys that can do setup using old programs to keep things even running marginally being overpaid, and a bunch of young clueless engineers.

I'm the one guy left even developing new programs on MasterCam for the HAAS VMC's, we have a new one doing the Lathes, and it's BS.

We seem to have a lot of managers that run around trying to have meetings that have no idea how to program just like to say "I need this now", have no clue how to actually do the work, and get paid to much too be there.

I need to get out of here, I've only been there two years now and the turnover there is horrendous and getting worse.

Some people run about saying "things are changing", but this is starting to become one of those "the more things change, the more they stay the same" situations.

Kinda nice to vent a bit and look at the situation just from posting it, yeah I need to move on.

Go go go. One thing that I have going for me is job security. Most of my recent problems were resolved by switching job positions. The last thing that I need right now is looking for a new job, especially with a wedding in a few months.
