for years i had been trying to track down the gremlin causing hard starting in the old big block cad, turned out to be some well hidden corrosion on the positive terminal, i had cleaned and cleaned those terminals but never removed or replaced the terminal bolt, removed the bolt today while replacing alternator charger wire and BAM about a teaspoon of corroded metal and shit comes flying out... cleaned it up and replaced the bolt and tightened her down, cranks and fires just like it was brand new... can't believe how long that has been going on...
