Okay so everything is ordered now I just need to wait for everything to show up, and since we are expecting 6-18" of snow tonight it might take a bit longer than the 2 day delivery I paid for...

Oh well the parts list for anyone interested

AMD A10-7850k
Asus A88X-pro
Enermax ETS-T40-TB
Rosewill Galaxy-03
Rosewill RNX-N250PCE (wireless N 2x2 PCIe card)
Thermaltake TR-600
2x4GB G.Skill F3-2400C11D (2400Mhz CAS 11)

Total: $418.94

Which is cheaper than the PS4 (with tax)

Will OC the GPU to ~1000mhz and the CPU to 4.0Ghz.

Might play around with 2133Mhz and CAS 9 or 10 vs. 2400Mhz CAS 10 or 11 just to see what the iGPU likes best, but overall decent upgrade all things considered.

Not when you toss a shiny new AMD video card in there.

I wont be doing that for a few months, and in the mean time the built in iGPU will have plenty of horsepower

Hell it can play BF4 at over 40FPS @1080p once it's been oc'd a bit and when using 2133mhz or faster RAM.

And once I do throw in a $150-250 card it will outclass a PS4 in performance anyway.

Having a fully functional PC is more important than a PS4. I still might get a PS4 in a few months, but having a computer up to date was slightly more important in the long run.
