I have to admit, gasoline is probably one of the most awesome smells ever. I don't purposely smell it but if the smell happens to make it's way into my nostrils, I enjoy that moment.

Another fun smell is boat motors, chain saws and other very inefficient gasoline engines that spew out an interesting gasoline smell. It's the smell of the great outdoors during a camping trip. If that boat motor starts in less than 50 pulls, you're doing something wrong. Actually, if it starts at all it's probably a miracle. Ah I miss the cottage, been a while. I'm probably still the last person to have started that old motor. It sounds funny, but it gets the boat to the other side of the lake, and maybe even back.

If you ever were in a control room with thousands of those nixies around you, you would understand how they could mess with you!

Gasoline smell is OK but once all the "good stuff" evaporates, it's quite nasty.

Some people actually do drink gas too. There was this girl on "my strange addiction" that drinked several litres a day. Imagine going to a AA meeting trying to quit gas. "what do you mean, like you want to get an electric car? You do realize this is for alcoholics right, the environmentalist meeting is in the room next door".
