its 12V, so while possible, pretty damn unlikely to start a fire. Noob.

Damnit. I should have read the instructions for my amp display meter BEFORE doing the DC electrical. The shunt goes on the negative side, not the positive side. FML. I guess some good will come out of this, I was not that happy with the cable management. though, cable management with 2awg cable is somewhat limited. That stuff is a pain to work with!

Then took off down the road with the Vanishing Point soundtrack blaring(Jimmy Walker-Where Do We Go From Here at that point) in my Sennheiser HD558 headphones.Involuntary grin ensues.
