so I got one thing done today

Still working on this stupid bga shit. I can't get the balls to stick to the pins and not the screen :(

I'm going to share some insider information with you

Our company has probably around 10k credit card machines in service. Maybe less, maybe more but that's close.

We are launching a new product soon and I estimate that half of those machines don't have enough memory to support the new product. The machines cost between $80 and $150 depending on the market. So minimum we are looking at $400k to upgrade the machines. Unless I can figure out how to do the upgrade, then the cost will only be roughly $10 per machine.

That's why work doesn't care how long it takes or what it takes to get this done. If I can save them $350,000-$1,400,000 then what's $10k in equipment and my labor?

I have everything I need...I just need to figure out how to use my balls properly.
