solution: thermometer with lead and PC application
problem: lead doesn't stick to board
solution: tape lead to board
problem: heat on board releases glue on tape
solution: buy higher temp rated tape
problem: tape still not holding due to heat
solution: figure out how high of a temp tape needs to be rated for
problem: can't find temp if tape won't hold probe down
