Boo dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon. I always dread those. All the picking at my teeth with the steel pick, and the butterfly feeling of waiting to find out if I have cavities, then having to book appointments for fillings. I barely have any natural teeth left, I wish they'd just leave em alone! I sometimes wonder if they schedule fillings over stupid things that don't really need em, just to make the money. The way I see it is if I have no pain then I should be able to just leave em alone.

First thing you should get when you move out on your own is a proper first aid kit for the house.
By proper I do NOT mean those prepackaged shit boxes they sell for 9.99.
I mean get a small tool box or large tackle box and fill it with useful items. Trauma pads and quik clot, tape, good scissors, razors, tweezers, a variety of band-aid sizes for all types of injury, different goops and ointments, oral stuff too, like Anbosol or whatever the numbing shit is.
Also multiple different disinfectants like iodine, alcohol, and H2O2. Know when to use each one.
And emergency drugs seperate from your regular stash. Acetomeniphen, ibuprofin, sickness pills, and maybe a reserve of any prescriptions you have.

Cant think of anything else, but those are the basics.

I use a bright red toy box and keep it on top of the fridge. Easy to see, easy to grab. Top comes off completely and I can immediately see everything. I even have a few rubber gloves in there in case I have to treat someone besides myself.

yeah my mom got me all of those things when I moved out, I keep my box in the bathroom so I can grab stuff while I'm rinsing whatever I did to myself this time.

plus I'm pretty sure if I rummaged through all my old army stuff I'd have enough supplies to start a hospital.
