I'm a fan of fried pickles, but not so much that I'd pay entry into a state fair just to get one (and drive 2 hours out of our way -- that's 2 hours that could be spent in bed in the overpriced B&B room I booked)

the diner around the corner from my house actually makes them pretty decently when I've got a hankering.
