They also had some ancient ones that were the size of a small computer tower. It was funny to see such a huge machine spitting out a tiny label. :biggrin:
 
i used it once to test. its kinda loud. but im really sick onf printing labels on plain paper; ., i have another dymo label printer but it doest do the 4" width labels that UPS uses.
 
The one in front of my house is super loud, the AC sine buzzing sound, but it sounds almost like a square wave. Sometimes it gets louder too. Been that way since I moved in. It's also super crooked. I thought of reporting it but I can totally see them raising my taxes over it. 😛

it's the ballast. The windings loosen over time and vibrate.
