omfg the pacing on this course was retarded today.

the class spent 3 hours doing a lab that took me a solid 30 minutes (plus I knocked out the next couple labs too before I said "fuck it" and just read comics on my iPad), and then at the end of the 3 hours, the instructor announces a 15 minute break. /facepalm

soooooo would have rather just left 2:30 early if the instructor had saved the lab until the end of the day.

that's why I could never work a corporate/businessy type job. It's a never-ending train of bullshit.

Yeah same. That's why I left IT server support. It was more politics than actual technical. I enjoy playing with that stuff at home but once it's a business situation it's nothing but red tape and politics and when you do play with it, you're not suppose to, even though it's suppose to be your job.

My current job is awesome. I make 30/hour to do network surveillance. Shifts are nice too, lot of time off. Between overtime, shift differentials and other bonuses of this job I made like 72k last year. 10k more than when I worked with servers. Funny thing is this job was considered a downgrade as far as rank goes. I don't care about rank, I just care about being happy, and the money. :awe:

it's the same light, just warming up. has to do with some of the gasses in the arc tube attaining higher pressure before others, i think.

It's actually more of a blueish color, the camera makes it look green.
