I applied over course of several years. Went in & asked in person & they'd just tell me to apply online. They didn't want to speak to me in person at all. Even when I'd drop my friends name or mention that I already applied online.

I applied online too. That's the only way they do it, I think. After I did the initial application they called me in for a tour of the facility and went from there.

I tried to get work at one of the shelters nearby, but when I was talking to person, we got interrupted & she told me to follow up with her next time I see her. By time I saw her again, she said they just hired some new people & doesn't seem like they'll be hiring again for a while. :|
