Trying to edit a 1280x720 .ts video. Constantly crashes. Takes at least an hour to edit. It also doesn't preview playback well at all with the lag.
Usually 720x480 .ts is a fraction of that, doesn't crash as much, it plays back well enough to line up my commentary audio to the video.
It's difficult to not rage.
To render 15-20min videos. 720x480 generally takes about 30-40min, sometimes more, but rarely over an hour. 1280x720, most times over an hour.

However I have nowhere near as many issues playing & editing a 1920x1080 .mp4 file.
I'd record my gameplay in .mp4, but I've found that codec is highly volatile & can shit out on me pretty hardcore.

This is all kinds of frustrating & only solution is more money & bigger investments into newer & better stuff.
Also AVS Video Editor sucks shit. I do need Sony Vegas.
