Somebody on CL trying to sell a set of G35x wheels with tires on them, $1500 cash. The tires are fucking stretched, the guy is a total retard.

I could make an argument to myself that buying 18x8 and 245/45R18 is worth at least $160/yr.

Given that I have at least another season on my Nokians (I regret even putting them on this season), and I would try to buy the 245's with at least two seasons on them, that's $320 value.

Turns out the guy in SC selling the wheels/tires, those tires are absolute garbage, terrible terrible ratings on them.

So if I buy 18x8 wheels and tires separately, that adds $80 to mount/balance. But then I'll get two seasons from used tires, five if new. That's either $240 savings or $720 savings.

If they come with tires already on them, it's only two seasons, max three, but no initial mount/balance cost. That's $320, maybe $480 savings.
