My sister just handed me a stack of CDs, said, "I don't have time for this", and then went on to tell me to rip the files and email them to her. There wasn't a please, didn't wait for me to say okay, just turned and walked away.
So I scolded her for not asking politely, not using please, explained I don't keep ripping software anymore, and dropped them back on her desk.
This is utterly hilarious.
I met a guy years ago through an online game, and we're friends on FB. It turns out he actually grew up only forty miles from me, and now he goes to a college in the western part of the state.
I also met a girl through work about 18 months ago, and again, friends on FB. She and the guy ended up at the same college, and are also friends on FB.
Now, sing along with me... it's a small world after all...
k, gotta ask right? Pretty sure there is a rule about even asking...
Yeah, you have to ask, that's the rule.
Doesn't mean I have to provide.![]()

I would call that coincidence. Not sure if its "utterly hilarious."
Reminds me of an SOS a few years ago. We didn't respond as another ship was closer. A schooner was in trouble due to squalls and called for help. When the ship arrived and the skipper and crew boarded turns out the sailing vessel's skipper and the cruise ship captain were practically neighbors growing up only a street apart. (both from the U.K.)
So yeah I know what you mean!![]()
